Inboard furling boom end cap. aluminum 8" long inboard boom end cap 3/4" jaw mast mount inner boom sleeve diameter: 1 1/8" x 2", mounts to inside of boom 482 total views, 0 today. I took the boom end cast off the catalina 25 to tighten up the tang. it was extremely loose and needed to be tightened. very quick 2 minute job to complete.. I also traced the end cap fitting onto the metric graph paper, and sketched the lip and sail track parts. the measurements are written into the figure, including the following: end cap fitting width 7.0cm (2.880in) end cap fitting min height 8.3cm (3.532in) end cap fitting max height approx 3.79-3.81in; end cap fitting dpeth 1.677in.

sailboat boom end cap End cap? i just rebuilt my c-36 boom and at each end there are screws holding in the end caps. if this is your situation i would suggest pulling them out (mine were sheet metal screws) and tapping the cap so you can replace with the next size bigger machine screws. coat with some anti-seize goo so they will come out if necesary.. New item #dr2140h for mariner owners who want a hinged mast step. mast step casting 2.25"x3.75" mounted on a large hinge 4"w x 6-1/2"l botton plate is mounted with 4 5/16" bolts (not included) also bottom of mast must be cut.call rudy to discuss@508-644-3001.
